Shipping policy
Scope and acceptance
- By placing an order, you agree to this Shipping Policy. This policy operates alongside our Terms and Conditions and Returns Policy and does not affect your statutory rights under Luxembourg and EU consumer law.
Prices, currency, and VAT
- All amounts are shown in euros (€). Prices and shipping fees include VAT where applicable. Any duties and taxes for deliveries outside the EU are the customer’s responsibility (see “Customs, duties, and taxes” below).
Shipping zones, thresholds, and rates
- Free-shipping thresholds apply to the order subtotal after discounts and before shipping fees, taxes, or duties.
- Certain oversized/overweight or restricted items may be excluded from free shipping or incur surcharges; if applicable, we will notify you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.
Order processing:
- We ship from Luxembourg. Online orders are processed Monday to Friday (Luxembourg business days, excluding public holidays).
- Most orders are processed and dispatched within 1 business day. During peak periods or for orders including items stored off-site, processing may take longer. If a significant delay within our control is expected, we will notify you using the contact details provided at checkout.
- If an item you ordered is unexpectedly out of stock, we will contact you to offer an alternative, a partial shipment, or a prompt refund for the unavailable item(s).
Tracking and delivery attempts
- You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order is dispatched.
- Carriers typically make at least one delivery attempt. If delivery is not possible, your parcel may be held at a local pickup point or nearest post office. The carrier’s notification will indicate the location and deadline for collection. Details vary by carrier and country.
Incorrect or incomplete addresses; unclaimed parcels
- Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are complete and accurate at checkout.
- If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect/incomplete address provided by you, refusal, non-collection, or inability to deliver after reasonable attempts, we can either:
- reship to an updated address once you pay the applicable reshipping costs; or
- cancel the order and refund the item(s) price minus (i) the original outbound shipping, (ii) any return shipping/return handling fees charged by the carrier, and (iii) any non-recoverable customs/duty charges incurred.
- Where the non-delivery was due to our error, we will bear reasonable redelivery costs.
Carriers and delivery estimates
- Delivery timeframes are estimates only; they may vary due to factors outside our control (carrier delays, customs, weather, strikes, etc.).
Customs, duties, and taxes (outside the EU and for certain non-EU territories)
- Orders shipped outside the EU (and certain territories such as CH, NO, UK, etc.) may be subject to import duties, taxes, and clearance fees once the shipment reaches the destination country. These charges are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in our prices or shipping fees.
- If you refuse to pay local duties/taxes and the shipment is returned or destroyed, we will refund the item(s) price minus all non-recoverable costs (including outbound shipping, return shipping, carrier return handling, and any duties/taxes we cannot reclaim).
Click & collect (store pickup)
- You can also collect your order in person at: Unicorner Concept Store, 1A Route de Luxembourg, L‑7240 Bereldange, Luxembourg, Monday–Saturday, 10:00–18:00 local time.
- Please wait for the “Ready for pick-up” email before coming to the store. If items are stored off-site, additional time may be needed; we will inform you if preparation takes more than a few days.
Non-delivery within 30 days
- If we do not deliver within 30 days of your order and no other delivery timeframe was agreed, you may request delivery within an additional period appropriate to the circumstances. If we still do not deliver, you may cancel the order and receive a refund for any undelivered goods, in accordance with applicable law.
Force majeure
- We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to natural events, pandemics, war, strikes, carrier disruptions, or government actions). We will use reasonable efforts to minimize the impact and keep you informed.
Changes to this policy
- We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
